Anglet's 8th Littorale Biennale Presents Ecological Art Along Basque Coast
Running until October 31, 2021, the 8th edition of La Littorale, Anglet's international contemporary art biennale, is themed 'l’Écume des vivants.' Curated by Lauranne Germond, the event showcases twelve unique installations at La Chambre d’Amour and Barre-Parc écologique Izadia. Featured artists include Martine Feipel & Jean Bechameil, Angelika Markul, Belén Rodríguez, Stéphane Thidet, Jérémy Gobé, Elsa Guillaume, Art Orienté Objet, Séverine Hubard, Laurent Tixador, Jacques Vieille, Antoine Martinet (Mioshe), and Laurent Pernot. The works highlight ecological vulnerability along the Basque coastline. Germond refers to the exhibition as 'a sensory poem about life's diversity.'
