Angelo Mosca's 'Memorie di uno sciagurato' at Site Specific 480 in Naples

Angelo Mosca's latest exhibition 'Memorie di uno sciagurato' opened at the house-gallery Site Specific 480 in Naples, with a view of Vesuvius. The show comprises 20 works spanning from the early 2000s to recent series, attempting to order the artist's life-art journey. It opens with three 'Ritrovamenti' works (2011–2013) that bridge past and present, followed by the 'Drain off' series. Central to the exhibition is 'Complementari sporchi', small canvases on dark denim fabric where color dominates as an interpretive element. Earlier works like 'Un giorno in barca' (early 2000s) and 'Reflect' or the Capri diptych showcase delicate, melancholic painting reminiscent of drawing. The exhibition is complemented by a special issue of Rivista Acappella 480, a collaboration between Galleria Acappella and 480 Site Specific, featuring texts by Mosca, Arianna Rosica, and Alberto Mugnaini, along with the artist's drawings and reflections.
