Angelina Jolie to direct biopic on war photographer Don McCullin

Angelina Jolie will direct 'Unreasonable Behaviour', a biopic about British war photographer Don McCullin. The film is produced by Tom Hardy and Dean Baker via Hardy Son & Baker, and by Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner via Working Title Films. McCullin, born in London in 1935, began his career in the RAF as an assistant photographer. His first published photo appeared in The Observer in 1959, and he covered conflicts in Cyprus (1964), Biafra, Belgian Congo, Northern Ireland, Lebanon, El Salvador, Russia, Vietnam, and Cambodia. He was the first photojournalist appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1993. Jolie stated she was attracted to McCullin's 'unique combination of courage and humanity'. McCullin praised Jolie's previous film about Cambodia, saying he felt in 'safe, capable, and professional hands'. The film's timeline is not yet known.
