Andy Warhol's Diamond Dust Queen Portrait to Auction at Ketterer for Elizabeth II's Centenary

Ketterer Kunst in Munich will auction an Andy Warhol portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on June 12, timed to mark what would have been the monarch's 100th birthday. The work is a diamond-dusted serigraph, one of only two such enhanced prints created by the Pop Art master. Estimated between €150,000 and €250,000, the piece derives from an official photograph taken during the Queen's Silver Jubilee in 1977. Warhol produced the portrait of the British sovereign, who lived from 1926 to 2022. The auction house announced the sale in Munich, positioning it as a commemorative event aligned with the royal centenary.
