exhibition · 2026-04-27

Over sixty works by Andy Warhol (Pittsburgh, 1928 – New York, 1987) from Italian private collections are on display at the Centro Culturale Bafile in Caorle, curated by Matteo Vanzan. The exhibition traces Warhol's artistic revolution and the rebirth of art in the second half of the 20th century, featuring iconic pieces such as Brillo Box, Marilyn, Beethoven, Mao, the Velvet Underground banana cover, Flowers, banknotes, and Interview magazine covers. Alongside Warhol's works, the show includes pieces by Roy Lichtenstein (lithographs), Robert Rauschenberg (collage, serigraphy, relief prints), Robert Indiana (LOVE), and Italian pop artists Mimmo Rotella, Mario Schifano, Marco Lodola, Tano Festa, Emilio Tadini, and Michelangelo Pistoletto. Original documentaries and videos from the era provide insight into Warhol's personality and the 1960s cultural climate.
