Andy Warhol as Textile Designer: First Italian Exhibition in Biella

From October 31, 2025, until April 6, 2026, 'Andy Warhol. Pop Art & Textiles' will be showcased at Biella Piazzo, featuring more than 200 pieces, such as photographs, textiles, and silkscreens, displayed at Palazzo Gromo Losa and Palazzo Ferrero. This exhibition represents Warhol's inaugural appearance as a textile designer in Italy, organized in partnership with the Fashion and Textile Museum in London. Curated by Alberto Rossetti and Vincenzo Sanfo, it highlights notable works and Polaroid images of famous personalities. Palazzo Ferrero, under the curation of Geoff Rayner and Richard Chamberlain, will spotlight Warhol's role as an illustrator. Michele Colombo and Mayor Marzio Olivero noted the exhibition's importance for Biella's cultural scene and its commentary on modern society.
