Andrei Molodkin's Oil-Filled Sculptures Critique Petropolitics
Andrei Molodkin's exhibition 'Guts à la russe' at Galerie Orel Art in Paris (11 April – 31 May 2008) features ballpoint pen portraits of world leaders that ironically reveal emptiness, and transparent sculptures filled with crude oil, critiquing the dominance of oil. The artist also shows at Nina Lumer Gallery in Milan (6 May – 20 June) and Pack Gallery in Milan (19 September – 20 October).
