Andreas Zampella's 'Dinamiche' at Galleria Gino Marotta in Campobasso

The Galleria Gino Marotta – l'Aratro di Campobasso, within the University of Molise, presents the exhibition 'Dinamiche' dedicated to Andreas Zampella, a Salerno-born artist born in 1989. Curated by Lorenzo Canova and Piernicola Maria Di Iorio, this is the third and final appointment of winter 2017. The exhibition features large canvases that explore precarity and introspection, with works either hung traditionally or placed on precarious scaffolding at navel height, forcing viewers to kneel for a closer look. Annalisa Ferraro describes the artist's work as 'an organ that breathes, living in the extreme with the unconscious need to reclaim one's own time.' Zampella's ongoing journey collapses time and space, positioning the human being as the epicenter of an infinite spiral movement, suggesting that life's vortex repeats endlessly, beautiful and overwhelming.
