Andreas Gursky's 'Visual Spaces of Today' at Fondazione MAST, Bologna
Fondazione MAST in Bologna presents 'Andreas Gursky. Visual Spaces of Today,' a major exhibition curated by Urs Stahel and the artist himself, running for over six months. The show marks MAST's tenth anniversary and features 40 images spanning Gursky's career from the 1980s to the present. Born in Leipzig in 1955 and a student of the Bechers at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Gursky is known for his large-format photographs exploring globalization, consumer society, and the Anthropocene.
