Andrea Schlieker appointed director of exhibitions and displays at Tate Britain

Andrea Schlieker has been appointed as the inaugural director of exhibitions and displays at Tate Britain. Since 2012, she held the position of director of commissions and external projects at White Cube. In 2008, Schlieker established the Folkestone Triennial and was the curator for the British Art Show 5 in 2005. Her professional background includes positions at the Serpentine Gallery and the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London. Additionally, she contributed to the Fourth Plinth commission between 2005 and 2007. This appointment signifies a notable transition for the art historian, recognized for her involvement in public art initiatives.
