Andrea Nuovo Home Gallery Opens in Naples' Pizzofalcone District
The Andrea Nuovo Home Gallery has been launched in Naples, located at Palazzo Sanfelice di Bagnoli on Pizzofalcone hill, close to Piazza Plebiscito. This two-story venue, which includes a hanging garden, is dedicated to advancing contemporary art and research. Founded in July 2017 by Andrea Nuovo, who previously oversaw Riccardo Dalisi's archive, the gallery functions as both an exhibition space and residency, featuring book launches, performances, and music, particularly emphasizing contemporary photography. Partnering with María Fernanda García Marino, Nuovo’s inaugural exhibition, "Cassandre," curated by Luca Palermo, presents four artists—Piero Chiariello, Marco Rossetti, Meri Tancredi, and Luisa Terminiello—who delve into themes of memory and communication. This opening follows the recent launches of Thomas Dane gallery and AM Studio Art Gallery.
