Andrea Fiorino and Riccardo Gusmaroli at Circoloquadro, Milan
Circoloquadro gallery, now located on Corso Buenos Aires since November, inaugurates its new space with a dual exhibition featuring Andrea Fiorino (born 1990 in Augusta) and Riccardo Gusmaroli (born 1963 in Verona). The show, titled "Della stessa sostanza" and curated by Arianna Beretta, presents recent works by both artists. Gusmaroli's pieces use thermal blankets pierced with constellations, removed from their frames to comment on light and contemporary misery. Fiorino paints himself exploring or simply being with black stones that invade his daily life, sometimes becoming his own skin. The exhibition runs until January 27, 2017.
