Andrea Cusumano's 'Raumdramaturgie' at Nitsch Museum in Austria
In Mistelbach, Austria, the Nitsch Museum is currently showcasing a solo exhibition by Italian artist Andrea Cusumano, named 'Raumdramaturgie' (Dramaturgy of Space). Curated by Giulia Ingarao and Fabio Cavallucci, the exhibition spans 1,000 square meters and features over 250 pieces, reflecting thirty years of artistic exploration. Cusumano, who served as Palermo's culture councillor from 2014 to 2019, seeks to push the limits of art through his vision of a 'Gesamtkunstwerk.' His idea of 'dramaturgy of space' emerged in the early 2000s following his studies at Central Saint Martins. The exhibition includes works from the 1993 'Pittura gestuale' series and will be open until May 20. A catalogue launch is scheduled for May 10 at the Museo Archeologico Salinas in Palermo.
