Andrea Carpita on Painting, Ukiyo-e, and the Minimum Portraits

In an interview, Andrea Carpita, born in 1988 and an alumnus of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara, elaborates on his artistic approach. His solo exhibition, titled "Some Things Last a Long Time," took place in 2019 at Angelo Della Pergola 1 in Milan. Carpita has also been part of various group shows, such as Premio Lissone 2018 at MAC in Lissone, Birthmarks / Voglie at The Flat‒Massimo Carasi in Milan, In the Depth of the Surface / II act at Pablo's Birthday Gallery in New York, as well as Summershow and Passengers at The Flat‒Massimo Carasi, Milan, and TU35 EXPANDED at Centro per l'Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci in Prato.
