Andrea Bocelli's Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico celebrates 30-year career with star-studded concerts
The Teatro del Silenzio, an open-air venue in Lajatico (Pisa) created by Andrea Bocelli, will celebrate the tenor's 30th anniversary with a concert series from July 15-17, 2024. Featured performers include Ed Sheeran, Russell Crowe, Johnny Depp, Giorgia, Laura Pausini, and Brian May. Designed by architect Alberto Bartalini in 2005, the amphitheater harmonizes music with the surrounding landscape and includes a lake adorned with a yearly changing monumental sculpture by contemporary artists, such as Igor Mitoraj and Arnaldo Pomodoro, curated by Galleria d'Arte Contini. After each event, the venue is restored to its natural condition. Additionally, the ArtInsolite exhibition will showcase site-specific works in Lajatico, featuring photographic prints and installations by Davide Dall'Osso from SCART (Gruppo Hera).
