André Leo's Wombed: Dark/Rock Music Interview

Born in Cape Town in 1990 and currently residing in Berlin, André Leo is a guitarist and songwriter celebrated for his innovative project, Wombed. He first gained fame as part of the duo Medicine Boy, which he established in 2014 alongside Lucy Kruger, with backing from Fuzz Club. Their performances included appearances at the Endless Daze Festival and Fuzz Club Festival in 2019. Following the release of their 2020 album, 'Take Me With You When You Disappear,' Medicine Boy disbanded. Both artists have since embarked on solo endeavors: Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys and André's Wombed. Additionally, he plays guitar for Errorr, a band formed in 2021. In 2020, André self-released two Wombed EPs and is currently collaborating on a new album with Adam Hill, Hezron Chetty, and Francis Broek. New releases from Wombed, Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys, and Errorr are anticipated in 2023.
