Analytic Agent: LLM System for Governed Enterprise Analytics APIs

Analytic Agent, a new system based on LLM technology, converts natural language requests into secure interactions with enterprise analytics APIs. This innovation addresses the shortcomings of Text-to-SQL methods in business environments that depend on governed APIs instead of direct database access. By assigning intricate business logic to APIs rather than the LLM, the system guarantees security, auditability, and consistency. It has been tested against 90 actual enterprise scenarios created by industry experts, demonstrating its ability to accurately interpret user intentions and verify parameters. This approach mitigates the risks of reliability and compliance that come with relying on an LLM for mathematical or aggregation tasks. The findings are detailed in a paper available on arXiv (2605.21027), aimed at non-technical users struggling with conventional business intelligence tools or Text-to-SQL solutions.
