Analoghia: site-specific works by Fato, Massari, Presicce at Castello Carlo V
The Castello Carlo V in Lecce hosts Analoghia, a group exhibition curated by Lorenzo Madaro and organized in collaboration with Galleria Bianconi of Milan. The show features site-specific works by three artists—Matteo Fato (born 1979 in Pescara), Luigi Massari (born 1978 in Bari), and Luigi Presicce (born 1976 in Porto Cesareo)—who, despite different starting points, share complementary artistic paths. Fato explores pictorial language and semantic play between image and the purity of the sign. Massari investigates the 'auratic' imaginary and the 'degraded epic' of a complex, indefinable reality. Presicce, through performative actions, creates biblical allegories with a medieval imprint that relate to contemporaneity. The exhibition runs until September 18, 2016.
