AN Interior Spring/Summer 2026 Issue Features Remote Homes and Frank Gehry Tribute
The Spring/Summer 2026 issue of AN Interior is now available, featuring five remote homes in Mexico, Santa Fe, and Saint Kitts, designed by architects with minimal footprints that prioritize natural surroundings. Highlights include a Greek house by Not a Number Architects, a zen-like retreat in Accord, New York, and an essay on Norwegian architect Wenche Selmer. The issue also pays tribute to Frank Gehry, who died in December 2025, with a feature on the renovated Schnabel House in Los Angeles by Thomas Safran, photographed by Zara Pfeifer and written by Michael Franklin Ross. Design editor Kelly Pau curates new kitchen and bath items from North American and European design shows. A special section showcases new design arrivals, emerging architects, and a Mad Libs game by FOR SCALE's David Michon. The issue also covers a Manhattan apartment by Lang Architecture and Casa Gardenias by Vrtical near Mexico City. At the Brooklyn Museum, the Rubin Museum's Tibetan Shrine Room has been reconstructed in the Arts of Asia galleries, on loan for six years, featuring over 100 artworks and ritual objects in a simulated Himalayan interior.
