Amici della Triennale di Milano raccoglie 250.000 euro in 100 giorni
In just over three months since its founding, the Amici della Triennale association has raised more than 250,000 euros to support Milan's Triennale institution dedicated to design and architecture. President Elena Tettamanti, an architect and curator, announced that corporate members include Assicurazioni Generali, Deutsche Bank, Cassa Lombarda, and Borsa Italiana. The association aims to double its membership by year-end and create a new public-private partnership model. Funds will restore interior spaces of the Triennale building. The 2016-2017 program features exclusive visits, starting with Christo's Floating Piers, and upcoming studio visits to Luigi Ontani, Renzo Piano, and Michelangelo Pistoletto's Città dell'Arte in Biella. Generali's contribution enables deserving students to become full members, targeting younger audiences.
