Ambientec launches portable lighting designs across Milan venues, including Sage White and Vosco lamps by Nao Tamura
Ambientec, a Japanese company, is showcasing its portable lighting designs simultaneously at Fiera Milano and in central Milan. The Sage White lamp, designed by Nao Tamura, features organic leaf-like forms with rotating side panels to direct light, using 232 LEDs for adjustable illumination, and is displayed at Arper's stand. Tamura's Vosco lamp, a rechargeable conical wooden design with a Fresnel lens, offers four brightness levels via touch sensor and has won the iF Design Award 2026; it appears at Karimoku Furniture's stand in Fiera Milano and Porro Milano's showroom. Porro Milano also hosts the European launch of Turn Marine Grade and Turn+ Marine Grade lamps, evolutions of earlier models by Tamura with IP66 water resistance and enhanced corrosion protection for marine environments, finished in Brushed Gold. These presentations coincide with the 88th issue of Glocal Design Magazine, which explores sustainability in contemporary architectural practice through projects, interviews, and key perspectives. Ambientec blends traditional craftsmanship with industrial design to create functional and elegant lighting solutions.
