Barrington, born in 1983 in Caracas, Venezuela, and based in London, is known for his fast painting style that incorporates personal memory, pop culture, and art history into a Creolised aesthetic. The installation explores themes of blackness, liberation, and movement, drawing on Caribbean syncretism and subverting European modernism and New Testament scenes.
