AlUla Museum Vision Revealed, Singapore Gallery Renovates, Hong Kong Spaces Launch
The Arts AlUla of Saudi Arabia unveiled its curatorial vision for the AlUla Contemporary Art Museum, which is scheduled to open in 2030. This initiative was developed in collaboration with Paris's Centre Pompidou and designed by Lina Ghotmeh. The museum will emphasize heritage, landscape, and environment, showcasing works primarily from artists hailing from Southwest Asia and North Africa. This vision was announced on February 1 at the "Arduna" exhibition, which features 80 artworks, including pieces by Wassily Kandinsky and Dana Awartani, and will be on display until April 15. Additionally, the National Gallery Singapore will close its UOB Southeast Asia Gallery for renovations starting April 1, with completion anticipated in November 2027. In Hong Kong, Serakai Studio will debut GOLD in March with the exhibition "CERTAINLY," running from March 20 to May 3, while Knotting Space will also open on March 23.
