AlUla Artist Residency Participants for 2022-23 Season Announced
The participants for the latest AlUla Artist Residency have been announced by the Royal Commission for AlUla and Afalula, with the program continuing until June 14, 2023. The chosen artists include Hashel Al Lamki, who explores human-environment interactions, and Qamar Abdulmalik, known for his work in collage, video, and new media. Curating the residency is Maryam Bilal, who emphasizes collaborative curatorial practices in Saudi Arabia's art landscape. This final edition of the 2022-23 season aligns with the inauguration of three new permanent residency apartments in AlUla's AlJadidah design district.
