Alterazioni Video Brings Turbofilm 'Guerra e Pace' to Bologna for Arte Fiera

During Arte Fiera in Bologna, the Italian artist collective Alterazioni Video presents a triple event centered on their latest Turbofilm, 'Guerra e Pace,' shot in Russia. The film explores fake news as an artistic object, featuring an interview with Aleksandr Dugin, a philosopher close to Putin. The collective's practice involves traveling without a script, letting chance encounters shape the narrative. In Russia, they drove over 2,000 km in a Soviet van, meeting characters like Ivan, a tenor met in a Moscow bar. The Bologna program includes a screening at Cinema Medica Palace on February 2 at 23:23, a selection of Turbofilms on February 3 at 12:00, and a party on February 1 at Voxel Coworking featuring 'Forza Uova,' an installation serving hard-boiled eggs and vodka. The event also includes a performance by Petr Bystrov and a lecture by Giovanni de Donà. A book presentation for 'Incompiuto.
