AltaRoma Summer 2017: Emerging Designers Showcase at Guido Reni District
The summer edition of AltaRoma highlighted spring-summer 2018 collections at Rome's Guido Reni District. Designers participating in the 'Who Is On Next?' competition, including Morfosis, Greta Boldini, Erkan Çoruh, and Moi Multiple, showcased their creations. Alessandra Cappiello's Morfosis featured 'Eresia,' characterized by vibrant colors. Inspired by the landscapes of Basilicata, Alexander Flagella's Greta Boldini revealed 'Sussurri.' Erkan Çoruh presented 'La Via della Seta,' showcasing voluminous designs. Anna Francesca Ceccon's Moi Multiple honored her grandmother with 'Plus-que-parfait.' The Accademia di Costume & Moda, under Lupo Lanzara, exhibited student works, while IED Rome featured 'S.OGNI' with paralympic champion Daniele Cassioli. Augusto Berretta received an international award from Sara Sozzani Maino, and Marco Grisolia and Marco D’Amico showcased 'Clorofilìa' at Monitor Gallery.
