Altaroma's A.I. Studiò Merges Craft and Innovation in Rome
The Altaroma kermesse in Rome has transformed its A.I. (Artisanal Intelligence) project into Studiò, a space blending traditional craftsmanship with innovative design. Now an association, A.I. has gained support from Fidenza Village and Value Retail, led by CEO Desirée Bollier, who praised the selected designers' research and synergy between tradition and innovation. The exhibition at Guido Reni District features tapestries, accessories, and garments in dialogue, with works by Enrico Accatino, Alberto Di Fabio, and others. Clara Tosi Pamphili highlighted the collaboration between artists and artisans, including tapestries from Penne spanning the 1960s to present. Designers showcased include Magrì by Isabella Pia Ayoub, Forms Studio by Anastasia Komarova, Cecilia Serafini's Solipsi, Aletheia Milano by Diana Carolina Yanes, Collanevrosi, Aurore Thibout's textile work with Akasaka Taketoshi and Makoto Ofune, Davide Grillo, Frederick Hornof, Maria De Ambrogio, Stella Tosco of Serie Numerica, Marta Mantovani, Karoline Lang, Ahirain, Jezabelle Cormio, and Vien. Alessio de' Navasques announced plans to consolidate collaborations with fairs and spaces in Italy and abroad, including a partnership with White in Milan offering dedicated areas and mentoring.
