Alserkal Arts Foundation Names Selection Committee and Research Grantees
The Alserkal Arts Foundation has appointed a new selection committee to guide its residency and research programs. The committee includes artist Lawrence Abu Hamdan, curator Maya El Khalil, architect Rupali Gupte, and social scientist Shandana Khan Mohmand. Over a two-year term, they will advise the foundation, nominate participants, and mentor grantees. Simultaneously, the foundation announced the recipients of the 2022–24 Alserkal Research Grant: Lubnah Ansari, Maitha Alsuwaidi, and two collectives—Natasha Kirit Maru with Rhea Shah, and Khalda Imad Mubarak El Jack with Zainab O M Gaafar.
