Alserkal and Christie’s to Stage Marwan Exhibition in Dubai

exhibition · 2026-05-01

From April 12 to 22, 2026, Alserkal Avenue in Dubai will host "Marwan: A Soul in Exile," a reimagined exhibit developed in collaboration with Christie’s. This showcase coincides with both Art Dubai and Alserkal Art Week, celebrating two decades since Christie’s held its inaugural auction of Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art in the city. The exhibition debuted at Christie’s London in early 2025, as part of a series focused on Arab art curated by Dr. Ridha Moumni. The Dubai presentation will explore Marwan's contributions as an educator at the Summer Academy in Amman between 1999 and 2003.
