Alpitour Group takes over Palazzo delle Stelline hotel in Milan for luxury renovation
The Alpitour Group has acquired the historic Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan, integrating its three-star hotel into the VOIhotels Lifestyle collection. The property, a former Benedictine convent turned orphanage, features 105 rooms overlooking a 15th-century cloister. Renovation plans aim to preserve the building's original architectural character while enhancing its role in tourism and business. VOIhotels CEO Paolo Terrinoni announced a goal of opening 12 luxury hotels within three years, including Voi Ca' di Dio in Venice this spring, with negotiations underway for properties in Florence and Lake Como. The project involves collaboration with Fondazione Stelline, Regione Lombardia, and the Municipality of Milan. The hotel is expected to reopen by mid-April 2021.
