institutional · 2026-04-26

Founded in 2013 in the UK, Almanac, a nonprofit organization, has moved to its new location at Corso Novara 39, Turin, during the summer of 2025. This space includes an exhibition area, artist studios, a workshop basement, and a library established in memory of Gail Cochrane, thanks to the Cochrane family. To kick off Turin Art Week (October 27–November 2, 2025), Almanac will unveil Indonesian artist Riar Rizaldi's solo exhibition titled "Fanfictie: Volcanology" on October 25. That same evening, the basement will host "If we were to fall silent," marking the end of New Gen 2025. In November and December, Dutch artist Bo Wielders will take up residency. Additionally, Almanac has introduced the Gail Cochrane Fellowship for Italian artists under 35, with the application deadline set for December 1, 2025.
