ALMA de Arquitectos Designs Cabaña RB Tapalpa in Mexico

ALMA de Arquitectos, led by Alejandro Martín, has designed Cabaña RB Tapalpa, a vacation cabin in Atemajac de Brizuela, Mexico. The project occupies only 10% of its 3,600 m² sloped site, surrounded by the Tapalpa forest with views of the valley. The 550 m² cabin, set for completion in 2026, uses topography as its main design tool. The team includes Melissa Lamas, Fernanda Hope, and Sebastian Torres. Construction is by Momentos entre muros, with interior design by Deautonomy studio. Photographers include Cesar Belio, Lorena Darquea, and Ansatz / Fernando Sánchez. Materials were supplied by Canteras Barba and Fensterwelt. The project is curated by Valentina Díaz and falls under the category of cabins and lodges.
