Aliée Istanbul's Second Art Season Blends Luxury Hospitality with Contemporary Art

Aliée Istanbul, an ultra-luxury hotel in the Tersane Istanbul district on the Golden Horn, launches its second Art Season, a six-month program of exhibitions, site-specific installations, and permanent commissions. The season features four outdoor sculptures by British artist Tony Cragg installed in the Courtyard, contemplative works by German artist Gregor Hildebrandt in Hasbahçe, and installations by French artist Mantra inspired by biodiversity across façades and public spaces. In September, Dutch artist Claudy Jongstra will unveil a monumental textile commission created exclusively for the hotel, becoming a permanent addition to its collection. Jongstra, whose works are held in MoMA, the Victoria & Albert Museum, Stedelijk Museum, Cooper Hewitt, SFMOMA, and Museum De Lakenhal, recently collaborated with Louis Vuitton on its Women's Fall-Winter 2026 collection. The hotel, with 99 bespoke rooms and suites, also features the Aliée Swim Club, the 4,000-square-meter Aliée Well+ wellness complex, culinary residencies, and Mondaine de Pariso Istanbul. The Art Season positions the property as a cultural platform where art shapes the guest experience.
