Alice Wang's First NY Institutional Solo Show at ISCP
Alice Wang's inaugural solo exhibit, "Windstorm on Saturn, Basalt Columns, MDMA, Serotonin," opens at the International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) in New York. This showcase includes her innovative ceramic sculptures and a forthcoming film, "Space Analogs: Pyramids and Parabolas III," which will debut in 2024. Wang's work delves into the patterns of Saturn's storms and the composition of MDMA and serotonin, weaving in personal narratives like her grandfather’s history as a Chinese spy. She will be at ISCP from December 2024 to May 2025, following her residency at Pioneer Works and participation in the New Museum's upcoming program.
