Alice Guareschi's Olympia performance becomes photo exhibition at MAN Nuoro

exhibition · 2026-04-27

Alice Guareschi's performance 'Je m'appelle Olympia', winner of the Italian Ministry of Culture's PAC2021 call, is now a photographic series on view at the MAN museum in Nuoro. The work originated from a single live action on April 12, 2012, at the Olympia Music Hall in Paris, where the artist activated the theater's house lights without any performance, for a select invited audience. The 16 photographs are displayed alongside the musical score annotated with light cues. A workshop on reading urban space will close the exhibition from September 14 to 17, 2023.
