Alice Caracciolo and Cemre Yesil Explore Castro's Myths Through Photography

In the exhibition "Visioni di pietra" at the Archaeological Museum of Castro, photographers Alice Caracciolo and Cemre Yesil present a photographic investigation into the history, myths, and legends of Castro and the Adriatic coast. Curated by Giuseppe Amedeo Arnesano with texts by Elena Carluccio, the show is housed in the castle of Castro, a venue recently valorized by the Puglia Region. The project, produced in 2017, involved photographers from various latitudes to offer a deep reading of Puglia's geographies. The exhibition features images of bodies in the sun, coastal towers, and stones, creating an immersive, dreamlike journey that reveals the ancient city's connections with the East.
