Ali Kaaf's 'The Fire's Edge' at Ayyam Gallery

Ayyam Gallery presents 'The Fire's Edge', Ali Kaaf's first solo exhibition, featuring his Rift, Helmet, and Ras Ras series. The show explores dichotomies of density and void, past and present, through interdisciplinary use of paper, charcoal, fire, and ink. The Ras Ras series uses fire to manipulate photographic slides, creating blank voids where faces should be, referencing absence of freedom of thought. The Helmet series comprises blown-glass helmets evoking fragility of memory and vulnerability. The Rift series employs paper as a resilient yet delicate material. The exhibition runs at Ayyam Gallery.
