Alexia Fabre to Curate 17th Biennale de Lyon

The Biennale de Lyon will kick off its 17th edition from September 2024 to January 2025, with Alexia Fabre taking on the role of curator. Notably, Fabre has made history as the first woman to lead the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in its 400-year history. She held the position of director at MAC VAL, a contemporary art museum in Vitry-sur-Seine, from 2005 until 2022. In 2019, she co-curated 'Lune, du voyage réel aux voyages imaginaires' at the Grand Palais in Paris and was a guest curator for Manif d'Art – La Biennale de Québec in 2017. Furthermore, she also shared the artistic direction of Nuit Blanche Paris.
