Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung Publishes 'About Glass' for 25th Anniversary

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung has published 'About Glass. Contemporary Sculpture and Installations,' an extensively illustrated book that delves into the role of glass in modern art. This volume traces the transformation of glass from an overlooked material tied to craftsmanship and design to a favored medium for artistic expression. The foundation has played a crucial role in facilitating this change through exhibitions, research, and building its collection. Featuring approximately 50 artists, including notable names like Monica Bonvicini, Tony Cragg, and Kiki Smith, the book presents a variety of works, from small pieces to expansive installations, highlighting diverse artistic approaches with glass.
