Alexander Singh discusses new play The Humans at ArtReview Live bar night

exhibition · 2026-04-20

Alexander Singh presented his new three-act play The Humans during the fourth ArtReview Live bar night, engaging in conversation with ArtReview's Associate Editor J.J. Charlesworth. The event coincided with the opening of Singh's exhibition at Sprüth Magers, where a film adaptation of the play is featured. An excerpt from this film was screened for attendees. Two signature cocktails were crafted by Absolut for the occasion: the Wild Tea Martinez, made with Absolut Wild Tea, Lillet Blanc, Angostura Bitters, and Maraschino, garnished with lemon zest and served in a Martini glass; and the Absolut Citron, combining Absolut Citron, Midori, Cloudy Apple Juice, Lime Juice, Gomme, Peychaud Bitters, and soda, garnished with an apple fan and rosemary spring and served in a Collins glass.
