Alessia Bulgari and Marina Abramović Launch Photo Book for Children's Charity

publication · 2026-05-05

Alessia Bulgari and the Fondazione Pianoterra Onlus have published "Little Ones," a photography book by Trolley Books with a preface by Marina Abramović. The book features global photographs capturing both light and dramatic childhood moments. Abramović's involvement inspired the project, which supports Pianoterra's activities for vulnerable families, focusing on mother-child health, education, and development. Proceeds fund "1000Giorni," an early intervention program for pregnant women, new mothers, and young children in marginalized contexts, in collaboration with ACP (Associazione Culturale Pediatri). The book launches with a tour: March 6 at 6 PM at Libreria IOCISTO in Naples, March 14 at 7 PM at the Italian Institute of Culture in London with Bulgari and Abramović, and April 11 at 6 PM at MAXXI – Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo in Rome. More Italian cities will follow.
