Alessandro Rubini appointed new director of Polo del '900 in Turin
In Turin, Alessandro Rubini has been appointed as the new director of the Polo del '900, taking over from Emiliano Paoletti, who stepped down at the end of 2024. Rubini, a Milan native born in 1980, earned his degree in business economics for art, culture, and communication from Bocconi University. Prior to this role, he served as a project manager at Fondazione Cariplo until 2019 and was the general coordinator at MEET Centro di Cultura Digitale from 2023 to 2024. Out of 41 candidates considered, a commission narrowed it down to five finalists. Board president Alberto Sinigaglia commended Rubini for his innovative vision and extensive experience. The Polo del '900, established in 2016, welcomed 70,000 visitors in 2024, marking a 13% rise from the previous year.
