Alessandro Isola's 'The Silence of Speed' merges car collection with living space in Italy

In Italy, Alessandro Isola has reimagined an existing structure into 'The Silence of Speed,' a private multi-level haven for car enthusiasts. This innovative project merges living areas with spaces for showcasing vehicles, featuring black resin flooring and walls, a folded staircase of black metal, a clear lift, and expansive sliding glass doors that enhance visual flow throughout the levels. A special platform enables cars to traverse the building, seamlessly integrating them into daily life. The six-meter dining table, crafted from burnished brass-finished metal, is inspired by a Porsche silhouette, accented with a Tangerine hue reminiscent of 1960s-70s Porsche designs. The guest bathroom boasts a basin sculpted from a single block of split Palissandro marble. The rooftop houses a hidden kitchen finished in fossil stone and vertical greenery. The construction was overseen by mzc+, with Impresa CEV S.p.A. as the main contractor, and support from Budri s.r.l., Gino Ceolin s.r.l., Lamp Arredo s.r.l., Rico s.r.l., and Skillmax s.r.l.
