Alessandro Fogo's Mythos Exhibition at Palazzo Buonaccorsi

Alessandro Fogo, a young artist from the Marche region and winner of the 2023 Premio Pannaggi Nuova Generazione, presents his solo exhibition 'Mythos' at the Piano Nobile of Palazzo Buonaccorsi in Macerata. Curated by Paola Ballesi, the show features paintings that explore the sacred and mythological themes through fluid forms, saturated colors, and hybrid creatures such as mermaid tails and angel wings. Key works include 'In principio fu la cicogna…', depicting a stork guarding a golden egg; 'Ragazza con Serpente', showing a snake charmer; and 'Visione', a large painting of an Egyptian god venerating a bronze angel statue. The smallest piece, 'Perla Nera', portrays a solitary oyster holding a black pearl.
