Alessandro De Rosa and Fantine Tho Release Yoga-Exercise Album 'Pele e Alma'
Italian composer Alessandro De Rosa and Brazilian singer-songwriter Fantine Tho have released their debut collaborative album 'Pele e Alma', the Portuguese version of the upcoming international album 'Flesh and Soul'. The album is also a yoga exercise book illustrated by Italian-Luxembourgish artist Greta Desirée Facchinato. Tho, a former talent show winner, moves away from pop toward a more electronic and acoustic world music sound to amplify reflection on environmental issues. She is founder of the Green Atlantic working group and an ambassador for the International Association of Human Values' global reforestation mission, through which she conducts songwriting workshops at yoga centers in Europe and at the University of Coimbra. The concept album represents a musical and inner journey where a hypnotic female voice (Alma) calls to her male counterpart (Pele), united by a search for balance and epic cinematic music by De Rosa. The project aims to reconnect art, music, and yoga to awaken ancestral relationships often forgotten in daily routine.
