Alessandro Carboni Performs 'Inverse Power of Wavelengths' at Wam! Festival in Faenza

festival-fair · 2026-05-05

The sixth edition of the Wam! Festival took place in Faenza from October 14 to 29, under the direction of Menoventi, Iris, and In_Ocula. This year's theme, 'Where are you now?', examined the concept of maps as reflections of reality through various forms of expression, including dance, theater, visual art, and performance. In partnership with MIC – Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche, the festival showcased artists such as Alessandro Carboni, Sotterraneo, and Fanny & Alexander. A significant discussion led by Franco Farinelli from the University of Bologna addressed the relationship between geography and different disciplines. Enrico Fedrigoli presented 'I am not what I am' at MUS.T Museo Territorio, emphasizing gesture, while Carboni's opening night performance, 'Inverse Power of Wavelengths,' utilized common objects to explore themes of order and chaos.
