Alessandro Bulgini's Opera Viva expands with Artista di Quartiere project in Turin
The Opera Viva initiative, spearheaded by Alessandro Bulgini, has transformed into Opera Viva – Artista di Quartiere (AdQ), emphasizing the role of art in fostering community connections. Initially launched in Turin's Barriera di Milano and previously featured during Flashback fair events, the initiative has now reached Taranto. AdQ aims to link young Italian artists with Bulgini and curator Christian Caliandro, who will mentor them on neighborhood art projects. A total of eleven artists, chosen by Caliandro, will engage in a four-week workshop concluding on October 18, 2020. Funded by MiBACT and the Segretariato Regionale del MiBACT per il Piemonte, the project seeks to develop a guide for local involvement. Social media updates will precede the Flashback fair in Turin, scheduled for November 5 to 8, 2020.
