Alessandro Bollo Named Director of Turin's Polo del '900
Alessandro Bollo, aged 44, has been named the director of the Fondazione Polo del '900 in Turin, a cultural institution established by the City of Turin, the Piedmont Region, and Compagnia di San Paolo. Founded in early 2016, it oversees 8,000 square meters in Palazzo di San Daniele and Palazzo di San Celso, which accommodates 19 cultural institutes. Bollo, who co-founded the Fondazione Fitzcarraldo, began his role in May 2017, with the goal of articulating the Polo's identity and fostering a dedicated team. The Polo boasts an archival collection exceeding 9 kilometers of documents and 400,000 digitized items. Upcoming initiatives include facade restorations, a café/bookshop, and a Young Board for content suggestions.
