Alejo Stivel and Silvio Rodríguez Release Collaborative Song 'Déjame en paz'

Spanish-Argentine producer Alejo Stivel and Cuban singer-songwriter Silvio Rodríguez have released a new collaborative track titled 'Déjame en paz'. The song is a reflection on consciousness and coexistence with human contradictions, with lyrics that ask for "canciones que sirvan a la gente" (songs that serve the people). Stivel and Rodríguez have known each other for many years, since Stivel was a child. They meet whenever they coincide in Spain or Cuba, and it was during a meal last year that Stivel proposed creating something together for the first time. Stivel initially suggested producing a track for Rodríguez, but his friend wanted to go further and co-write it. Stivel, former singer of the band Tequila, recalled being moved to tears by the experience. The song was released on digital platforms.
