Alejandro Villanueva's time-lapse captures Snøhetta's Reindeer Pavilion
Filmmaker and photographer Alejandro Villanueva has released 'Snøhetta Viewpoint 4K', a time-lapse video documenting Snøhetta's Wild Reindeer Foundation Pavilion in Hjerkinn, Norway. The pavilion, completed five years ago at the edge of Dovrefjell National Park, serves as an observation point. Villanueva spent five days capturing over 10,000 frames, condensing the experience into a two-minute video that highlights natural light and weather changes. The structure, designed by Snøhetta co-founder Craig Dykers, features a steel-and-glass exterior with a sculptural wooden interior. Snøhetta, with offices in Oslo and New York, is also known for the SFMOMA extension and the National September 11 Memorial Museum.
